Emerald Vale Brewery was established in April 2012. Named after the 400ha farm Emerald Vale, our brewerey and restaurant lies nestled in the green hills between the Chintsa and Chefani Rivers on the Wild Coast of the Eastern Cape.

We produce beer from the best natural ingredients in a simple yet precise process using rain water, malted barley, selected hops and yeast to yield a variety of tastes.

Our brewery tour & tasting takes you on a 45min journey of the history and brewing process including a tasting tray R95. Tasting trays are available at the restaurant R55.

Our restaurant is a popular family spot - open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and booking is essential.

The menu includes a variety of delicious meals including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options, with vegetables and herbs from their own garden. 

The menu includes seafood, steaks, burgers, pizza and many other speciality dishes.

Conference Facility at Emerald Vale 

We can offer a comfortable, air-conditioned conference and meeting room which will be flexible enough to accommodate up to 30 guests. The facility comes with a range of presentation equipment: 75” UHD Smart TV (HDMI) with a webcam, high quality portable speaker and white boards.

Whether it’s a high-level board meeting, business conference, a sales training, or a more personal, intimate meeting, team building or webinar we will adapt the space to suit your needs.

Our restaurant is ideal for a lunch break with stunning views over the farm.

The farm boasts a number of trails for walking, hiking and cycling as well as a jungle gym, jumping castle and plenty of space for children to play.
